A block sandbox game in plain JavaScript and Three.js: infinite terrain with caves and ores, the Nether and the End with a dragon fight, redstone, villages and trading, enchanting and brewing. No build step, no server, no install — and every texture, sound and track comes from the open-source game VoxeLibre.
Try it in your browser
This is the real game, not a simulation — the same files as the GitHub repo. Worlds are saved in your own browser (IndexedDB). Unofficial fan project, not affiliated with Mojang or Microsoft; it ships no Mojang assets.
Not playable on phones yet — WebCraft needs a keyboard and mouse. Have a look at the screenshots, or open this page on a computer.
What's in it
- Survival: infinite terrain, caves and ores with a deepslate layer, day and night, rain, snow and thunderstorms, hunger, oxygen, XP, breeding, sleeping through the night.
- Dimensions: the Nether (five biomes, fortresses, ruined portals) and the End (strongholds, obsidian pillars, end crystals, the dragon fight).
- Redstone: 0–15 power, repeaters, comparators, observers, pistons, hoppers, dispensers, note blocks, TNT.
- Villages, enchanting and brewing: villagers with five trading levels, iron golems, an enchanting table with bookshelves, anvil, 18 potions.
How it's built
Classic scripts sharing one global scope, loaded in a fixed order — no bundler, no modules, so it runs straight from file://. Every big system (Nether, End, redstone, villages, magic, building) is a feat_*.js plugin registering blocks, items, recipes, mobs, models, screens, commands and dimension generators through documented hooks. About 16,600 lines of JavaScript.
Not done yet
Multiplayer, End cities and elytra, ocean monuments, woodland mansions, signs and banners, command blocks. Phones aren't supported — it needs a keyboard and mouse.
